If an Operator receives critical damage or is unable to extract from an Incursion, they will be covered in REACT Foam to prevent infection will be given the MIA status, unless they are put into an extraction pod during the same Incursion, doing so will result the Operator being inactive instead. The environments of the game feature a layered material system, in which environmental objects of different materials show different reactions to player's attack. Like Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, the game features a destruction system that allows players to break structures by planting explosives on them or to make bullet holes on walls by shooting it. Voice and text chat are supported to satisfy this need. This risk and reward system makes communication between teammates key to completing Incursions successfully. Should an Operator be downed, they will enter the MIA status and cannot be chosen from again until they are rescued. Players will only receive one life per Incursion. REACT Tech is equipment that players can select before entering an Incursion in order to help handle certain situations or to compliment the Operators chosen by their teammates. The game was first announced all the way back in 2019 as Rainbow Six Quarantine before Ubisoft decided to change the game’s name in June of this year. That’ll contain four exclusive gearsets between both games, and unlock Extraction’s 18 operators to use in Siege too. The co-op shooter will launch with four difficulty settings and twelve all new maps that are said to be three times the size of those found in Rainbow Six Siege across four dynamic regions. Any progression your pals make will carry over to the full game, should they then decide to pick it up. Once activated, these tokens will grant access to the entire game for no extra cost for up to 14 days. Each copy of Rainbow Six Extraction will come with a pair of tokens that can be given to friends on almost any platform (Steam is apparently excluded).
